We're Back!

We just got back from Arizona, and we had a fantastic time! Thanks to all the cousins, aunts and uncles and Grandma and Grandpa for putting up with us!! We had a great time! On the way however, we did lose a long time friend, old blue. So here's a tribute to our old car.

Please note the sunny Arizona weather... Ah... I miss it already.

Our new car was a lot of fun to drive home, we became familiar with all the unusual splatters.....

... enjoyed all the beautiful scenery....

.. and then, Abbey took the wheel. She is a great driver, but we were all scared to death. Notice the tight grip my mom has on the back of her seat, her other hand was used to bite her nails.. she was freaking out.....

... but so was everyone else...

At the end of the trip, we basically felt like Ruthie here, beat.

All except Amy who apparently was having way too much fun in back taking pictures of herself to be tired...

It was a great trip, we had a blast, but it's good to be home, even though we have to put on a ski coat just to take out the trash.

Gotta love it!

The new girl in town

Has anyone heard of the style rookie? Well if you interested in fashion, you will come to know her sooner or later. She's a thirteen year old blogger about fashion, her blog is the syle rookie, and it's causing quite a stir in the fashion world. If you think it's odd now, it only gets worse. All of the biggest designers love her. She was given, GIVEN, the front row seat at fashion week, and has received numerous gifts from the best designers. So who is this girl? Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you.....

TAVI GEVINSON

Uh.. what exactly is she wearing? Yes people this is the girl that the designers have been having a fit over. Okay so she's really not that bad I guess she has some cute things... but still!!!

This is the only outfit of hers that I would actually wear in public. Maybe I'm just jealous, but this girl is getting the poshest of the posh, for free. FREE. This is terribly frustrating for me. Am I the only one who feels this way?

The time has come for...

FALL! One of my favorite times of the year! The apple cider, the crunchy leaves on the sidewalk, the crisp autumn air, the beautiful mountains and trees as they shift into winter mode, it's amazing. It would be absolutely perfect if it wasn't so terribly cold, oh how I hate the cold. No, just kidding, what I really hate is the indecisiveness of mother nature. It's too much for me to handle, it drives me crazy. One day it's nice and sunny and you're getting an awesome tan at tennis practice, the next you are so cold you wear a minimum of 5 layers and you mourn over the end of your hard earned complexion. But it's not all bad because the outdoors is just too spectacular to pass up. The skies have seemed more spectacular than usual, and the flowers are so bright, giving their all right before they go into hibernation. So although the weather this time of year can get pretty bizare, everything is just too lovely, it's hard not to love it.

You can't really tell from this far away but this is just before the mountains began to change colors.

Craft Lake City

Lydia and I make pocket mirrors and earrings and other random things you can make with a button machine. (Click here to visit our etsy store!) We have been lucky enough to sell our stuff at the Beehive Bazaar (If you have never been to it you should go, they have the cutest stuff!). For the first time Salt Lake is having a craft show that will happen annually, and hopefully it will be successful! It will be called Craft Lake City. Because the Beehive Bazaar is a sponsor for the craft show we were invited to apply, and we were accepted to sell our stuff! It's going to be a really neat Craft show! If you live in the state of Utah or are going to be in town , you should go, it's going to be fantastic!
